WESTERN FINAL
The East and West Final did not disappoint, and while it was difficult to accept the outcome, the red hot Winnipeg Blue Bombers came out on top. However, the Roughriders couldn’t finish down the field and lost on the final play, with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers stealing the game in the final moments.
As a result, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will advance to the Grey Cup game and play the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on their home turf.
And while it wasn’t the outcome Rider Nation had hoped for, let’s find out what Rider Nation thought about the West Final performance.
FANS WEIGH IN
This week, we asked the Roughriders what they thought the team’s performance during the West Final. While some fans shared their distaste for the loss, others said the game was “good,” “great,” and “exciting.”
In terms of strengths, Rider fans say that playing until the last play (26%) was a significant strength in the West Final. Others said the D-line (18%) held up their end of the field.
Regarding weaknesses in the Western Final, fans believed that the Riders’ offensive passing game (18%) needs work.
